Super Easy Minimalist Wall Decals

Playroom Storage Solutions

And just like that the small update in the kids’ playroom is COMPLETE!  We added a few super easy minimalist wall decals, moved some furniture and some toys around, and voila!  Big changes on a tiny (and I mean next to nothing) budget!!

Wall Decals

In case you needed a refresher, here is what the space looked like just before.  Also, if you want to see the TRUE before & after you can check out Kids Playroom Makeover & Organization Ideas. There I go into way more detail around playroom organization and show the space basically right after we moved in….brace yourself.  It was a disaster.

Still not bad at all.  We were very happy with it, but it was missing something.  The walls were just a little bare.  I knew I didn’t want to do paint, so I thought decals would a fun, easy, and easily changeable idea that would give some much needed personality to the space!

So I picked out these beautiful, neutral, very minimalist wall decals from Modern Maxwell and got started!

(You can see more of the play by play on my Instagram stories.)

The thing I loved most about these specific decals was just how forgiving they were.  If I applied them crooked I could very easily adjust them without ruining the sticker AND without peeling the paint!!

There are tons of options out there for wall decals, but I can’t speak to all of them.  I can speak to these however and I’m a HUGE fan!!  No, this is not sponsored, but yes the decals were gifted to me to try out.  I honestly didn’t know what to expect but I’ve been VERY pleased.  They stick great to the walls without peeling the paint, even thought they’re a lighter color they really pop on the wall!  As I mentioned, they’re very forgiving if you need to make adjustments, they stick great to textured walls (which is what I have) and are super affordable!  This set is only $25 for 48 stickers (which is how many I used for this wall)!! Totally worth it!!

Well?  What do you guys think??  Such a fun and easy change right?  We’re loving it!  My only heads up would be that you can see that the sheen of the sticker is not the same as the wall.  It doesn’t bother me at all but if you’re wanting it to look more painted on, then you may wanna go with a stencil instead of a decal.
